  • This is a post about gachas and cool bomber models. Gacha haters may have a lot arguments against them (some valid) but you can't deny that this SL trend is giving the opportunity to creators to come up with some really creative sets. A fine example is this new Airplane model kit by Eleventh Hour available at Oh my gacha event. Having spent quite a few hours putting together models as a kid this set brings back memories. The gacha includes 2 rare items and 6 common and the price for each play is 50L.

  • This is just a flash post to show you this cool new bedroom set by DIGS. Quality meshwork as usual, the set includes a bed (duh), various dressers and cabinets, nightstands, lighting and decor like book stacks and wicker boxes. Everything you see in the pic above is part of the bedroom set, except for the wall art (Leezu for past Arcade round) and the house which is brand new from Trompe Loeil for Collabor 88.

  • This is yet another post about awesome events for guys and sharp looking malts. I mentioned in the previous post that the latest round of Mens Dept is awesome. What I didn't mention is that it is that awesome that it prompted miss Leroux from Not just a Pixel to finally update her male alt. It only took a few minutes of shopping and only a reasonable amount of L$ for that dude with the layer clothes and outdated mohawk to come back a sharp looking (as seen above) gent. So ladies grab those dusty malts or your boyfriend who stubbornly refuses to change his prim biker boots and his layer wifebeater tank and tp to Mens Dept. You won't regret it.

  • This a post about awesome events for guys, steampunk fireplaces, and bars made of boats. Mens Dept is the "to go" event for guys for some time now but in my humble opinion this round is the best so far. Not only it is full with quality mesh clothing but the home & garden items you can find there are impressive as well. You can see some of them in the pic above since the "Salty bar" set from Cheeky Pea and the "Wanderlust" art set from Consignment are both available at Mens Dept. Credits and taxi to follow.

  • This yet another flash post to show you the new house release by Not so Bad. Maybe it is my inner geek that used to play Sims 2 back then, only to build houses (and occasionally torture sims to death), or the fact that architectural designs fascinate me but I'm a house junkie in SL. I keep changing houses monthly (or even sooner) and I'm often amazed by the quality of the designs a lot SL builders have in their works. The new Rokeya prefab by Not so Bad is no exception as you can see in the pics above. Both the texture and the mesh work are impressive (as usual by NsB) and if you like modern prefabs then you will love this.

  • This is a quick post about a pretty cool collaboration between Cheeky Pea and Consignment available at the current round of The Garden. It includes a sofa bed (actually opens to become a bed!), couch, pouffes (not in the pic), a table and a television set. The set comes with both PG and adult animations. The Christmas tree is a really neat group gift from Celoe and the house is Scarlet Creative's item for this round of Collabor 88.

  • This a post about winter, awesome event stuff and a beautiful sim. Berry's blog keeps saving me from my writer's block with another Monday challenge. This time I get to answer a bunch questions about winter and it really suits all the awesome winter stuff I have bought in SL lately. Not only that but it was the perfect excuse to do pics in this new beautiful sim called "Yuki no yume", you should defintely visit it.

    1. What is the December/Winter season like where you live? Standard Mediterranean winter. Cold but not too cold and since I live near the sea I rarely get to see snow.
    2. When you think of winter, what’s the first thing that pops into your head?  Melomakarona! It's a traditional Greek dessert mainly made during the Christmas holiday season and believe me, it tastes good.
    3. Have you ever played any extreme winter sports? Pee...snow drawing?
    4. What do you like most about this season? Snow, gifts, food, holidays, cool clothing...what's not to like? Unlike summer that's probably my least favorite season, winter is pretty awesome.
    5. Do you celebrate Christmas, Hannukkah, Kwanzaa or another holiday during this time of year? Christmas but not in a religious way (not even close as far as I am concerned). It's more like an excuse to exchange gifts and eat food I can't cook myself.
