This is a post about bistro coffee places, awesome houses and cool fountains. I was looking for a nice bistro set for a while and Trompe Loeil delivered with this new release at faMESHed March round. The tables/chairs and the fountain in the pic above are all parts of the Trompe set and I have to say I only did some basic editing to this, because they look that good! There are different designs of the tables in the pack and the chairs are texture change. I was very happy to see that this set went perfectly in the nice little patio area, this new skybox by Scarlet Creative has. The skybox is available in the new round of Collabor 88.

This is a flash post about my new house from Trompe Loeil that replaced my old house from Trompe Loeil that I got a month ago. The new house is available in this month's  Collabor 88 and as you can see it looks awesome. I made sure I filled it a little with the new living room set by the same brand available in faMESHed but since I am really slow with decorating you will have to wait to see the rest of the rooms! Out there but where you may ask. The answer is at the new round of the Garden which has opened its doors on the 15th and it's full of goodness. The theme for this round is "area 51" and there are so many fun and well made items for sale. From vintage living room sets to "I want to believe" posters and from ridable UFOs to 5Os diner sets, this round has something for everyone! I grabbed some stuff and put them out for our two agents to have some R&R before they continue their search for the truth and tin foil hats. Credits and taxi to follow.

This is a post about vintage stuff, my love for vintage stuff and Collabor 88. I don't know if I have mentioned it before but I'm always excited to find out about an event with vintage themed items. I have a love for most things vintage from clothing to decor so you can imagine I was happy to know the new (2nd anniversary) round of Collabor 88 had that theme. The event has opened its doors and you can tell how popular it is by the fact it is constantly full! I finally managed to teleport today and grabbed some pretty cool stuff for a vintage mancave I have on the works. Credits to follow!

I am writing this post after spending a Sunday morning at the beach and returning sunburnt and slightly tipsy (cocktails aren't the best way to fight dehydration). So I thought about doing a relevant beach post and these cool floating loungers from What Next looked perfect for the job. They are available in the new round of Zodiac event (cancer sign theme) and they come with a bunch of animations and a few props in them (like the cocktail I'm holding with my ugly system hand). Summer just started but there are already events all over SL with a "summer-y" feel to them. One of these is the new round of  "The Garden" starting today June 15th. Lots of home & decor stuff on sale and they are all related to summer somehow. Among them is this cool ice-cream vendor set by What Next, because if anything, summer is all about ice-creams! The dude selling the frozen goodies in the pic above, is obviously enough me and I'm wearing the new release from FATEwear, sporty-casual hoodies and slacks in many different colors to choose. You probably know it already but if you live under an SL rock, know that Arcade is open once again! This round has more creators than any of the previous and loads of cool stuff to feed your gacha addiction. It took me two days to finally enter the event grounds due to it being constantly full, which says something about its success. As always there are various gacha yard sales where people can look for that elusive rare or put up for sale their spares, after all trading is part of the fun of a gacha, right? The first item to grab my attention was this really cool scooter by What next, available at the gacha, with so many color options and various different versions too ( some of them rare of course). I was just drinking my Saturday morning coffee, sitting on my desk trying to find a title for this blog post when I remembered Berry posted a new SL blog meme during the week. Problem solved, now I have a title and also the opportunity to reveal my grumpy "old man" side to you! The new meme is called "my SL pet peeves" and it's pretty self-explanatory, list the five things you hate the most in your second life. Grumpy rant to follow!

1. Random "Hi" messages : Whoever has me in their plurk friends has probably seen me whine about this more than once. Seriously though if you are someone I don't know or have never interacted with (plurk, flickr), DON'T message me in SL with a plain "Hi, Hello, Hallo, Allo" or whatever. Do you go and stand in front of strangers in the street just saying "Hi" and then stare at them in RL??? I bet not (and if you do seriously don't message me ever, you are a creeper). State your business and I will most likely, happily reply.
2. Mass Teleport spam : I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in that. We all have (or had) that one (or more) annoying friend in our list who probably works as PR in a SL club and constantly sends out mass TP's to all of his/hers list. Well guess what dumbo, I don't care if that awesome DJ is spinning right now in your club, that's what group notices are for! When I see an IM from you,  I expect it to be an actual IM to me and not some random TP. First step (after telling you) is hiding, second step, delete (likely the latter).
3. Text speech : If you message me with something like this " Hi, cn U teL me whr U got ur shape? I wnt it lols!" I will ignore you. All I see is "Curjsallfm%43%5246" gibberish, learn to type. By the way that was an actual message I got recently.
4. People who can't read : From experience and lot of profile perving they may fall into the above category too. That's another major pet peeve of mine, when I clearly state in my profile that in case of failed deliveries or requests (from people I don't have in my FL), you should contact me with a  NOTECARD , you simply adhere to that simple written rule and do it! If you want to be a rebel (YOLO) do it your way, but you will definitely be ignored.
5. Bling : Not much to say about that one. Maybe the SL thug life chose you blingy dude/chick but I'm sure I didn't choose to have it in my screen, instant derender.

It's March already and the much anticipated new round of Arcade gacha event is here once again. Lots of goodness this round too and as always the quality of the items is awesome. In the pic above you can see (amongst other things) three items from the gachas at the event, the lamp from Trompe Loeil (still trying to get the steampunk one!), the chair and desk from DIGS and that neat looking vintage music box from Contraption. Just like the previous rounds there are various yard sales set up already all over the grid so if you can't find that rare item you want, there is always hope! First day of February and of course new round of faMESHed is on the way. Once again many quality items on offer and this time I'm really impressed with the "home & garden" stuff available so expect more decor posts soon.
