This is a post about unplanned blogging and fancy clothes. I didn't originally plan to blog this look since I have already blogged most of the stuff I am wearing and I was mostly making it for fun, but when I saw dazzling miss Leroux there I just had to jump in. I was playing with different versions of Kauna's 3pc suit (navy & white) trying to make a fancy vintage looking and I have to say I 'm pretty satisfied with the result! Eve is mostly wearing items from the current Collabor 88 round (what got me in the mood to make a look in the first place) and you can find her credits here .

This is a post about brogues, faMESHed and HUDs. New faMESHed round is open (and will stay that way until the end of the month) and as always a lot of goodies to spend your lindens on. This time the first thing that caught my eye were the new brogues by Kauna offered at the event. Not only they are really well made but they also come with a gazillion of customizing options. The HUD included in the pack lets you change everything, from sole type and color to laces and heel, which is probably why it is so freakin huge! It's time for my dorky moment of the week and once again I'll use one of Berry's memes/blog challenges as an excuse. This one is about creating a movie poster for your SL avatar (RL inspired or not) and that's what I tried to do in the pic above. It's obviously inspired by "The 40 year old virgin" movie and I chose it because I'm totally a SL virgin too, I've never seen SL genitals and I think "Bukkake bliss" is a sim about Japanese cuisine (also that poster was one of the few I could do with my inferior PS skills)! Hey guys, just a quick post about a new cool release from Kauna. This is the suit set Kauna has on sale at the current faMESHed round but new options got released in the mainstore. Now you can find the blazer and shirt in even more colors (I'm wearing the purple blazer and blue plaid shirt in the pic) and on top of that a bunch of different color packs for the accessories too. I had fun playing with all the different combos and as you can see they made me denounce my usual color blindness when it comes to suits, even if it is just for a day!

I admit that I'm really bad at following all these memes and challenges going on in SL blogs. Yesterday though I stumbled upon this meme post on Strawberry Singh's blog and it seemed like a really fun idea. So here are my seven SL facts you probably don't really want to know but I will put them before the credits so you will have to see them anyway (evil laugh).
My 7 SL facts :
Fact #1 : I'm a hermit in SL. You have probably heard other SLers saying that too but it's true, I rarely leave my sky platform unless I go shopping, take a pic or fall from it (I fall a lot).
Fact #2 : "Sleepy" typo frenzy. The few people I actually DO hang out with in SL are in completely different timezones so in order to see them I stay awake way more than I should. This results in a massive amount of "sleepy" typos if I'm in chat during that time and an insane amount of coffee consumption next morning.
Fact #3 : Younger than I look. I'm in SL since the summer of '09 but in truth I'm way younger than that. I have taken really long breaks (no logging in at all) so my true SL age is 2 years old which is a good excuse for my occasional noobness.
Fact #4 : I hate my full SL name. When I made the account I didn't plan on staying long (made it because of an article I was writing about SL at the time) but seriously who puts freakin dates in their names (me apparently). On the bright side I get a good laugh at quite a few SLers with poor observation skills over the years who have asked me my age.
Fact #5 : Skins and eyes loyalist. While I do change my outfit in SL almost daily, I very rarely change my skin and eyes. I will try different ones for specific looks and pics but I always have my "regular" skin and eyes that I change 1-2 times a year at most.
Fact #6: I love SL photography. It's the first thing I miss everytime I take a long break and my flickr account (well, the old one before it got deleted for no freakin reason) was the same age as my avatar. Over the last year I have even started trying my hand at making poses for CnS e-motion (shameless self promo).
Fact #7 : I've had pixel sex once. With system layer socks on. White system layer socks. It was good.

Ok, I know you are probably thinking "did he just post a picture of himself standing on a trunk?". Thing is that this trunk is made of awesomeness and I just had to sneak it in the pic somehow! I'm a sucker for well made mesh blazers/suits and the new release from FATEwear is definitely one of them. This suit comes with so many different options that it makes it hard to choose (see all versions here) but I picked the "over the shoulder" one for the pic since it instantly caught my eye. The suit has two animations included even ( hold blazer on shoulder and hands in pocket) but sadly I couldn't show them in the pic cause I suck at taking pics of an avatar in motion.
